The International Society for
Mushroom Science
ISMS is a non-political and non-profit-making organisation. Its
objective is the furtherance of the cultivation of various kinds
of edible (including medicinal) macrofungi called mushrooms. The
purposes of ISMS are the dissemination of information on new
developments and science of mushrooms and to stimulate the
exchange of new ideas between growers and scientists around the
world. This site contains information on the various species of
edible fungi, details of conferences and meetings, as well as an
extensive links page.

The Mushroom Council
The Mushroom Council was established to strengthen the American
mushroom industrys position in the marketplace, maintain
and expand existing markets and uses for mushrooms, and develop
new markets and uses for mushrooms. Their home page is a
consumer-friendly site with information on the history and
lifecycle of the mushroom, mushroom farming, and recipes.
