Fungal Bioremediation
This is a website that aims to introduce the reader to the new prospects of using fungi to clean up our environment, known as fungal bioremediation.

My name is Lucy Goodeve-Docker, I am a third year student at the University of Manchester, studying biology, and this website is my final year project.  I am aiming this website at a general level, so whilst there is some complicated chemistry I have included a glossary of terms used to help explain.  Just click on the underlined words.

My supervisor is Dr David Moore.

To read more about fungi and their bioremedial properties please choose an option from the menu above.

                                              Acknowledgements

I would like first of all to thank Dr Moore for letting me ambush his last website availability, and for providing inspiration for fungal bioremediation.
Secondly I would like to thank Ben Wilder for teaching me how to design websites.

For all the information I gathered, the links pages provides details of most of the online resources, however the book Fungi in Bioremediation, edited by G.M. Gadd has helped to clarify many points.
