Audrius Meškauskas worked in the School of Biological Sciences, at the University of Manchester (1/7/1997 to 1/10/1997). The main research area was mathematical modelling of the spatial organisation of gravitropic reaction in mushroom Coprinus cinereus stem. This work belongs to the historical period of bioinformatics, when genome sequences were not yet available, and some scientists tried to use bioinformatical methods for analysis of other experimental data.

More recently, Audrius Meškauskas has worked on Sight web robot generator project in Ulm university, Germany.
